Rana Daggubati made his debut with ‘Leader’ and has become very popular with a different kind of characterisation of the hero. Presently he is playing hero in ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ being directed by Puri Jagannath, with Ileana in the female lead.

Some time ago, i.e., immediately after the release of ‘Leader’ popular director Selva Raghavan wished to do a film with Rana and narrated him a story. Though the story is impressive, the budget of the film appeared a little scary and in order to avoid risk, Rana refused him.

Now, the same director brought another cute love story which suited at best to Rana and within a limited budget. The Film Nagar sources say that Rana had given his nod for the movie. However, the film would start rolling once, the present project on hand with Puri Jagannath was completed.
